Monday Nights Just Got a Lot Better
If you haven't experienced Dive In Movies at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, this summer is the perfect time to fix that. Starting June 8, the resort's Boulevard Pool transforms every Monday night into an open-air cinema — and the setup is genuinely impressive. Films play on a 65-foot digital marquee positioned four stories above the Strip, with the Las Vegas skyline as your backdrop. It's one of those experiences that sounds simple but lands a lot harder in person.
General Admission doors open at 6:30 p.m., with movies starting at 8 p.m. Tickets run $15 for non-hotel guests and $10 for locals with valid ID. Hotel guests get in free with a room key, and MGM Rewards Gold members and above also get complimentary access. Military members and first responders get in free too.

The Lineup Is Genuinely Good This Year
The film schedule runs through mid-August, and whoever curated it clearly had fun. The season kicks off with A Minecraft Movie on June 8, then rolls through crowd-pleasers like The Mighty Ducks, Clueless, Rush Hour, and Talladega Nights. Mid-summer brings Space Jam, the live-action How to Train Your Dragon, and Superman (2025). It wraps up in August with Ocean's 11, Super Mario Galaxy, and Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
That‘s a solid mix of nostalgia and newer releases — something for pretty much every group dynamic, whether you’re bringing kids, a date, or just some friends looking for a low-key Monday. Check out the full Dive In Movies schedule and tickets on The Cosmopolitan's website before you go.
Snacks and Drinks Are Worth Showing Up Early For
The poolside menu got a refresh this season. Two new cocktails stand out: the Watermelon Cool Down (Patrón Reposado, watermelon, lime, and mint) and the Hot Peach Mule (Mount Gay Silver Rum, summer peach, and a habanero kick). Both sound like exactly what you want in June when it's still 95 degrees at 8 p.m.
Food-wise, the menu leans into classic comfort — Mini Smash Burgers, Loaded Nachos, Warm Pretzel Sticks, and slices from the resort's famously tucked-away pizza shop. Movie theater-style buttered popcorn rounds it out. If you want to upgrade your spot, premium daybeds and upper deck cabanas are available for booking through the resort's website or by calling 702.698.6797.
A Good Deal for Locals Especially
Las Vegas locals get a little extra love here through the resort's “Unlock Your Mondays” program — dining specials, cocktail deals, nightlife perks, and complimentary self-parking. Validation is available at the Boulevard Pool podium or the casino‘s security podium with valid ID. That makes the whole evening genuinely affordable, which isn’t something you say about the Strip very often.
If you‘re looking for a summer activity that doesn’t require a reservation two weeks out or a $200 minimum, this checks a lot of boxes. Grab tickets or learn more before the good dates fill up — Ferris Bueller on August 17 is already calling my name.
