Then there‘s a second wave: Tiffany Derry (Top Chef alumna, MasterChef judge), Maneet Chauhan (James Beard winner, Food Network), Eric Adjepong, Karen Akunowicz, and Paul Carmichael, whose Kabawa was called the number one restaurant in New York’s East Village by the New York Times.

The cocktail side: Christine Kim of Service Bar, which made North America's 50 Best Bars. Meaghan Dorman of Raines Law Room and Dear Irving. Lynnette Marrero. Jeremy Barrett of Lemon, Frank Maldonado of Employees Only. For wine, four Master Sommeliers are involved, including Michaël Engelmann and Jason Smith, who formerly ran global wine strategy for MGM Resorts.

The Schedule

Four days, multiple price levels. Large tasting parties, intimate chef dinners, cocktail masterclasses, industry panels, and brand activations.

The Opening Night Party is at the ARIA Yucca Pool. “24K: Caviar & The Classics” is at The Pinky Ring by Bruno Mars inside Bellagio. “In the Mix: Music Meets Mixology” runs at On The Record at Park MGM. Seated lunches include CARBONE Riviera and Spago. Dinners include a spirit-aged steak and cocktail pairing at Westoria inside The Cosmopolitan.

The James Beard Foundation is hosting “A Night of Excellence” at the ARIA Yucca Pool.

A21, the agency producing the event, has run the Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival and Pebble Beach Food & Wine. A portion of proceeds benefits Keep Memory Alive, which funds research and treatment for brain disorders at Cleveland Clinic Nevada.
